The young ladies attend Pow Wows, Cultural Events, make appearances and / or perform at luncheons, conferences, civic, corporate and private events. Highlight annual events include the opening and closing ceremonies of the State Fair of Oklahoma and Native American Cultural Day at the State Capitol. They will end their reign starting with a very special "Outgoing Princess Honor Dance" held in February followed by the annual Miss Indian Oklahoma City Competition and Performance in March where they will pass on their titles to the next chosen winners.
