Throughout the year, by invitation, the current princess
title holders serve as ambassadors for their respective
tribes, Native People, Changing Winds Cultural Society
and Oklahoma City at various events by performing sign
language, dance exhibitions, participating in parades
and serving as greeters.

The young ladies attend Pow Wows, Cultural Events,
make appearances and / or perform at luncheons,
conferences, civic, corporate and private events.

Highlight annual events include the opening and
closing ceremonies of the State Fair of Oklahoma
and Native American Cultural Day at the State Capitol.

They will end their reign starting with a very special
"Outgoing Princess Honor Dance" held in February
followed by the annual Miss Indian Oklahoma City
Competition and Performance in March where they
will pass on their titles to the next chosen winners.
